Week in Review: October 1 - 6

Birthdays: This week we marked the birthdays of two Brits, Dame Julie Andrews and Kate Winslet, and two Canadians, twins Shawn and Aaron Ashmore.

Movies - New movie of the week was Looper, which I absolutely loved.  We rounded out things with Finding Nemo, and two more Bonds, For Your Eyes Only and Octopussy.

Books - Double duty with books today, first up was Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, which we followed with The Fault in Our Stars.  Both amazed me, so if you haven't read them you should.

TV - This week's TV show was the summer portion of Suits' second season.  I actually really enjoyed it, although not as much as the first one.

Recommendations - New movies this week are Frankenweenie, Butter, and The Oranges.  As Butter and Oranges are both only getting limited releases I doubt I'll see them in theatres, but I'm really looking forward to Frankenweenie.

Next Week - Next week we're finishing off a Bond, Roger Moore, and moving on to the next, Timothy Dalton.  First up is A View to Kill then The Living Daylights.  New movies are The Perks of Being a Wallflower and Pitch Perfect, both of which I waited far too long to see.

Requests -What about you guys?  Anything you think I should watch or read? Let me know!
